Circulated 1864 Civil War Token. Have not cleaned. I would grade this Fine. These Tokens were made by both the Union and Confederate. The obverse is the Indian Princess and the reverse is the Date, 1864, "Union For Ever." Tokens featuring the Indian Princess image reflects the complex dynamics of the era. This image served to represent notions of strength, resilience, and unity. It was meant to be essential qualities for both the Union and Confederate forces during the war. Collectible.
