Yep, I thought so too. Thats why I've hung onto it for years- even tho I am not a "gold" person....I figured I could find another use for it someday! Guess I've done just that!

that is an awesome pendant, but a little rich in credits for me right now cause of what i've got out on other auctions, dangit anyways....love the picture of the dog you've got up with your name too, adorable!! looks kinda like our oldest girl, except she's pure white with beautiful hazel eyes

LOL yup, you saw it right, my fiance found it somewhere and i almost peed laughin when he showed it to me a while ago but i had no idea he had it saved on this computer. Yeah, our oldest baby girl Lightning's a purebred white lightning pit.....got a younger one too, a Boston Terrier/Pit Bull cross, just sweethearts. One time a friend of ours's little girl took our baby dog to another room and we didn't realize she was being given a new style til she came walking out with green stripes LOL even through her eyes but she never made a sound or anything so either it didn't bother her or she just likes kids so much that she wasn't gonna argue since she got to play with a little girl - she was our technicolor baby that night hahaha. the little guy isn't fully grown yet so he still gets real excited about anyone being around at all so just gets too jumpy for that but they're the best dogs i've ever seen around kids - too bad they get such a bad rap in the press so much of the time

I AGREE! When I got my first Pit {he passed away a year ago- had cancer} I called my mom, who lives on the other side of the state, to tell her all about him....she gor REAL quiet & I could tell she was trying not to cry, so I asked what was wrong....her reply was "Debi, please don't go to sleep with meat sauce on your breath"---totally funny, but it shows what kind of misconception 99% of the world has!
they are the sweetest, most gentle dogs in the world!! Unless they are unfortunate enough to be put into the hands of people the likes of Michael Vick! My mom has changed her view since meeting Hogan {my 1st} & wanted to kidnap Roscoe and take him home with her!!! She is now a big fan of Pits & will defend their honor every chance she gets!!!
