Questions & Comments
might I suggest a padded tyvek or kraft envelope? These ship first class for under 5 dollars, and I am pretty sure that you can find one long enough for your needs. Mark it do not bend and it should be fine.
i will definately look into that :) thanks! i don't think i would have to mark it though... if anyone tried to bed it, it wouldn't budge. these things are pretty sturdy ;)
paypal.com/shipnow allows you to ship from home but you can ship all methods. It does not need to be only priority or express. You can ship even media mail. The fee is on 19 cents per transaction. All you need is a cheap postal scales. I use it all the time and love not having to go to the post office.
think i'm gonna have to look into that for sure! i do need to get some postal scales, and i would love not having to go to the PO... thanks for the info!! but right now it is just paypal for me. maybe this weekend i can get some scales and upgrade ;)
if i take them out of the package i can send them for $5.35 flate rate envelope, but the package is 15 1/2" long which means i will have to put them in a box. i wish i had measured them before i posted them now... i thought they would fit in the priority mail boxes i got in the shirt box size. they are an inch too long :( so now i need to take them to the PO to find a box to fit them. what i saw on the website though seems like it will be just over $8 to ship it parcel post because of box weight. i hope this helps :)
would you consider mailing them just first class or parcel post. I don't need them fast enough to pay the extra postage. also, do you use paypal.com/shipnow
whatever way the winner would like them sent is definately how i would do it. parcel post is usually cheapest and i am always down for the cheap :) if paypal.com/shipnow is the same as paypal i do accept it ;) i am not the most savvy lady when it comes to technology and it's vernacular...
