Up for auction is a vintage Rene Doll Corp. #515 "Dolls of the World" Sweetheart Doll.
This is from around 1952-53. It was mine when I was a child. Given to me by my mom, but it was only a doll you looked at, not to play with. So it is in practically the same condition as when it was purchased. Approximately 7-1/2".
It has been safely stored in a trunk for many years.
Over the years, I have tried to find another like it, but have not found any.
The eyes still open and close like new. And the box is in pretty nice shape (no broken corners ~ cellophane window is a little loose, but not torn)!
If you collect the toys from the 50s, or just older dolls in general, this will be a wonderful addition to your collection!
