I purchased this watch at auction, thinking I would just look it up to see what kind of watch it was, and all the information on it. I was attracted to the beautiful case!
Dial says “Japan Movement” “Hong Kong”. I have not opened it to see the insides, because no instructions came with the watch, so I did not want to damage by trying to open incorrectly. I assume it is a quartz battery style, but not sure. I thought I could find all this info online. Nada!
In any case, selling it as I found it. Scene on one side of the case is a hunting dog looking up from the reeds at waterfowl flying overhead. The reverse is just a lovely pattern.
Since I couldn’t find information on it, selling it “as is”. If you deal in pocket watches, perhaps this is familiar to you? Smoke-free item.
