Not so much for the date on this, but very significant because it is an obsolete bank and features an Native American Indian chief on it. The vignette on the left is of Chief Mahawie of the Mohican tribe of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The bank was located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts until it was replaced with the First Agricultural Bank. Signed by Robert Gregory & John R. Olis, both prominent businessman in Great Barrington, Ma. at the time. I only have a small amount of these so do not hesitate if you collect obsolete bank checks. Punched cancelled, old folds with no breaks. Mailed correctly and shipped free.
