A football player and coach are depicted in green on a white background on these stamps. The verbiage on the stamp is in red and reads: “FOOTBALL 1869-1969 U.S. 6 ¢” Each stamp measures 1 1/2" wide x 1" tall (3.8cm x 2.5cm) These stamps are in unused condition meaning they have never been used. They have however aged and the white has yellowed. My late great grandma collected stamps not a “true” stamp collector & basically stored them in envelopes.
