The listing, Three Skeins Patons Sock Yarn has ended.

3 skeins Patons Kroy Socks FX - Super fine (1), 28 stitches & 36 rows in 4x4 inches on US 3 knitting; US D/3 crochet. 75% washable wool, 25% nylon, approx. 166 yards each for a total of 166 x 3 = approx.498 yards.

2 skeins are color Cascade Colors (a turquoise-ish blue, grayish brown, & tan-ish beige mix). These are from same lot.

1 skein is color Camo Colors (a light greenish? blue, dark brown, & tan-ish beige mix). I think these colors are complementary so I was going to use the Cascade color for the main part of socks; the Camo color for heels and toes.

All skeins are partially frogged. I started knitting 2 socks at a time, then the intended recipient decided she wanted a different color. I swatched a bit of the Camo to see what the colors would look like.

Questions & Comments

Does it make a pair of sock with one ball or does it take two?

Now keep in mind, this is my experience at my gauge. I am a tight knitter. Your gauge may vary. 2 balls make 1 pair of ladies small/medium. A man's medium with a size US 3 (at my gauge) takes 2 balls but if I go to a size US 2, it takes a bit more than 2 so I have to buy 3 balls. I've never made a woman's medium/large but I'd image you'd have to have a 3rd ball for that too. I hope this answers your question.
