Sorry I didn't reply directly to you, I'm kinda new at this. The cross on thw WW II Pin is raised where the cross on the volunteer pin is flush. So it is probably newer. By how much I couldn't tell you. I do know they did belong to a friend's Grandmother, and she (my friend) didn't want or know what to do with them so she gave them to me. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure but it is made like the WWII Pin. Same coloring/enamaling, so there is a real good chance it was.

The cross on the WWW II pin is raised where the cross on the Volunteer Pin is flush. So it is more than likely newer, but by how much I couldn't say.
