You are entitled to your own opinion. On a standard note, 5,000 credits for an item that is retailing on Walmart.com for $9.88 is about right and most likely giving it away for far less. Add in the fact that GIN costs the seller 50 credits (a gamble that is not returned, if GIN is not used), plus 10% of the Final Value, the seller will not even get the full 5,000 credits. But instead, only 4,500 credits.

On top of that, in theory, an item that protects your iPod Touch 4th Generation and keeps it close to as new as possible will maintain your iPod's value. In the event that you upgrade to the 5th Generation in the not too distant future, potential buyers would be more than happy to bid higher on your item on sites like eBay or maybe even here, because of its pristine condition.

Yes, you can probably win it for less than 5,000 credits, if you wait it out. But you would also take the gamble of getting outbid at the very last second and then end up with no case at all.

One more logical aspect to look at is, if you were to bid on a $5.00 Walmart Gift Card offered here on Listia, it would sell for more than 5,000 credits and even with that $5.00, you would still not have enough to purchase this product off Walmart.com.

In summary, your opinion is yours to keep. GIN is still on the table. Only one person will win and the rest will have to look at other options.
