is there a lot of reading in this game??? I have a 6 yr old,trying to find games for his age group without a lot of reading....

It does have a lot of reading unfortunately for a little one every time Max meets up with a new monster they talk in text to each other. Also like i had said before for instructions on how to do certain things....

but its mainly the commands so once he learns that he will be fine. he will be able to record his voice roaring if he wants so every time the character Max needs to roar it will be him roaring through the game..
