I think it is double deluxe, and the last I new Sims 2 is not Windows 7 compatible. My little sister installed it on her new laptop Windows7 and it messed up her computer. So as far as I know it is not Windows 7 compatible, unless EA has come out with some kind of update or plugin to make it compatible.

I had sims double deluxe before and it worked great on my laptop that was running vista and the other laptop that I had which was running xp.

I have windows 7 on my laptop and play sims 2 on it just fine long as you have internet it will pull updates automatically when you install the games
