This is yet another rare and unusual bromelaid related to pineapples. Like and often confused with the Teal Metallic Blue/Aqua Sapphire Tower Puya (Puya alpestris) and the Turquoise Blue Puya (also Puya berteroniana but of a slightly different hue), this perennial too hails from southern Chile.....**SASE to cover cost of shipping. This auction is for 5 seeds and i will not have any more for a while..thanks

how tall does the plant get? Grown outdoors?

It gets 10 meters tall..you can germinate inside depending on which zone you live in as to if it can stay outdoors....it has to have tropical conditions...i keep mine inside in the cold weather.

So I could grow it as a house plant?! (as long as it fits!) in pretty sure it won't grow up here in Northern Minnesota! At least not outside! Thanx! =•) F&W!

You can grow it outside when warm and bring in when it gets cold..im sure by the size of the container it is in will control the height and all of the plant...just like my plumeria trees.
