I'd like to start off by saying that I'm really glad to be back! For those of you who don't know me, I was an active member of Listia for a very long time. I took a break at the end of the Summer because I was going back to work (I'm a teacher) and going to school Full time, so I literally had no time to balance listia and shipping out packages.
Since my time off from listia, I've faced a lot of bumps in the road, one of which landed me in the hospital for over a month. Now my family, friends and I are dealing with the recent damage and devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. Many of the people closest to me have lost their homes and belongings and the affects of this Natural Disaster are affecting all of us. Everything I've recently gone through has put alot into perspective for me, and with the help and constant support of two of my best and closest friends who I actually met here on Listia ( <3 you Christy Wylie & Lacey Morris), I am ready to be back here, especially to be able to give to those who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford things. With all that being said, here is the auction description :)...

Getting better, slowly but surely. Finally got power back today! But many of my family and friends completely lost everything, including their homes. It's devastating... But things can only get better from here and that's what we're all focusing on. Thanks so much for asking!

Hey! Sorry for the late response. According to NARS, it's for all skin tones. Many people might see it in the tube and initially shy away from it, especially people with paler complexions because it appears very dark in the tube. But the truth is, NARS is right! Though it looks very dark, when applied on the skin, it's actually more sheer. And you only need a little bit. I've sold this to people with all complexion tones and they love it. What I also do is mix it with a bit of my foundation for a more subtle, all over glow. But basically, if you're more fair, you only need to dab a little on the places of your face you wish to highlight or contour (cheekbones, brows, temples, & the Cupid bow of your lips) and blend outward. For paler skin tones it really delivers a healthy, & natural sun kissed glow with a bit of a highlight. For medium or darker complexions it is a really beautiful Higjlighter, but will also give you a bit of a natural-sun kissed glow. Honestly, I swear by this stuff! You can use it in so many ways!

I've been meaning to email you. If you read the description on this auction you probably have somewhat of an idea what was going on. But I really need to email you and fill you in! I wasn't allowed cell phones or anything while I was in the hospital (crazy) because of the floor I was on. And then once I got out- the next day was the hurricane and I had no power or cell service for awhile. Anyway, everything is okay now, thank God! Uh oh- SERIOUS goodies? I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!! I too have some awesome stuff I actualy have been putting on the side for you as they've come in. A lot of things I think you're going to LOVE!

Sandy was absolutely devastating. So many homes completely destroyed and many lives lost. But what's really cool is that now, it's like everyone has come together in all the communities and we've formed a wonderful bond. We're all here to help each other. I spent part of my morning in Breezy Point helping to clean and to look for any possible valuables we could find (it was like looking for a needle in a haystack). There were 150 + houses they were burnt literally to the ground due to an electrical fire. There's literally nothing left but scraps and dust and small pieces of things here and there. Someone described the way it looked by saying it looked as if a massive bomb went off and just blew everything.. literally everything away. It's so so sad.

Anyway, on a happier note- we have to do some serious chatting about the next boxes! I got pulled away a little bit ago to, like I told you, go help in Breezy Point but I'm going to email you now!
