music biz not much of a biz these days,Tower records went out of biz, most of the used cd stores in town out of biz, only 1 left with big selection,so now one must get cd's off the net, etc. hardly worth shipping cost, unless rare jazz or blues, I am a musician so we don't make any $ unless we sell our cd's at live performances, even then people can copy, trade over net, etc. With every tech revolution there are winners and losers, with this one we are the losers, too bad cause live music is also dieing out in my area so really no venue left to sell cd's except net,Myspace, etc. and there is so much out there on the net to choose from for free why would anyone pay, etc. in this economy? but theres still Itunes for SOME mp-3 player users, buts thats not much to keep the "industry" going! so thats why I say ex-music industry.
Say what, Tower started in Sacramento and now whole chain out of biz,the music biz used to emply a lot of people in CA. I guess that is of no concern to anybody down there I hear your economy is doing real well there!@#
and the majority of americans thought it was greed on the part of Wall St! and ineptitude on the part of govt. I guess that means they are all cry babies./according to you.
The Economy is like it is because we have become a Country that rewards people that don't work and we hand them money food clothes and what ever they need and want for free so why should they work they are better off not working and we punish the ones that do right and go to work ever day by over taxing them so we can afford to give all these freebies out to the non working ( In Short when we became a Country were you are better off not working them you are working THAT IS WHEN THE ECONOMY WENT TO H-LL )
