I'd be in on this with free shipping as well. You could even pull him out of the package if that made shipping cheaper from your side in the case of me winning.
I think free shipping at 2,000 is a good thought but without free shipping the bidding won't get to 2,000. So unless myself and Tanner got together and agreed to both bid 2,000, one of us would be stuck paying shipping. You could set the starting bid at 2,000 and then we'd be guaranteed it was free.
I know my comment was kind of confusing, but basically saying free shipping over X credits only works if it's something like an XBox or something. Otherwise there aren't enough bidders to bid the item over X credits and so the bidder (in this case probably just one person) pays shipping since not enough people bid.
In other words, you have multiple bidders who want to bid upwards of 2,000, but with the risk of paying for shipping they won't bid, and thus this won't get up to 2,000 and beyond. With free shipping from the start we can start a little bidding war since more people are willing to take a chance with free shipping.
