Description

The listing, Opium Poppy Seeds SASE has ended.

Opium Poppy Seeds, back upon request. Youll recive a small baggie full of lots of seeds, approx a gram Id say. These are the ones that produce opium sap, so becareful how u use them. Grown for ornamental purposes, they are a beauty and will produce decorative pods, full of seeds that can be used in crafts, if you let dry intact. The seeds are edible and can be used for all kinds of yummy poppy seed recipes too.

Shipping is a sase, or basically just send to me a couple stamps, and I will protect seeds with card stock, envelopeand bubble wrap, so they arrive packaged protectively and safely, or if you prefer a dollar concealed will work too. So if you send stamps no need to send a dollar to cover that expense. Just to clarify.

I will also include a bonus pack of seeds for you to enjoy. Thanks everyone who bid last time. This has been alot of fun.

well you can get these just about any seed store, but its that the person complained that you cant grow legally. Ive seen others offering the same seeds, but its that I need to warn people not use for that purpose.

I live in Chandler,AZ and was wondering if you have any tips on how to grow these ? I don't think they tolerate our gruesome summers and I was wondering if they should be planted now.

I heard that in arizona fall is our spring, so yes I wouldve suggested plant in early fall late summer, but you can also plant at first sign of spring. It sure couldnt hurt to try now too, you guys are abit hotter than us, so I can imagine how hard it is. They tend to like a bit a cold but it depends on variety. A great resource is at onestoppoppyshoppe they have growing instructions. Inside is another option, but you need 12hrs a day under a grow lamp, then during blooming time up it to 16hrs. Also potting mix needs to be light not heavy, maybe like seed starting mix, or even a soiless mix. Good luck. I hope some of this info helps.

Thanks for your help! Summers in the East Valley are horrible and everything starts to die in May if you don't water your plants daily . I will keep an eye on this auction .
