500 credits = 5 cards
1000 credits = 10 cards
1500 credits = 15 cards
2000 credits = 20 cards
2500 credits = 25 cards
3000 credits = 30 cards
3500 credits = 35 cards
4000 credits = 40 cards
4500 credits = 45 cards
5000 credits = 50 cards

The 6,000 credit gin will get you 65 cards.

That's because in these "random" lots. I lay the cards face down and count out the number of cards for the lot. I don't go through them and I don't check to see if they are commons, uncommons or rares.
