The listing, MATERNITY WARD NURSE'S PIN has ended.

This is a Nurse's Maternity Ward Pin. It is real old. It dates back to WWI/WWII. It is stamped on the back: ETHEL WELLS, Sterling and it is stamped with a jewelers mark. The clasp works. On the front around the outside it says: Maternity Grace Hospital NFLD, (Newfoundland). In the center of the pin, around the medical insigna it says: Blood and Fire. This is the only pin I have.
Since it is so old, I will be setting a starting bid and if it is Not won, it will NOT be relisted.
I will try and answer any and all questions, so feel free to ask.
Yes, the shipping will be free and whomever wins, it will be shipped with a tracking number and it will be INSURED.

Yes, it was my Great Aunt's pin. She was a Salvation Army Nurse for years and worked the Maternity Ward at Grace Hospital in St. John's Newfoundland. It was given to me years ago. I think it needs to go to someone who will give it a good home. My Great Aunt never married but she loved babies and children.

i have my great grandmothers original California nursing license from the early 1900's. along with her hand written qualifications of a nurse. So neat!

That is so cool! This is my Great Aunt Vi's pin. She was born in the late 1800's, (189?). She passed when I was little. She never married or had children, the babies were her children. She was a Salvation Army Nurse.
