I have no idea what you could use this for but it is beautiful
and I have never seen one like it. It looks like the top of an
elephant that would have had a trinket box underneath. It has a hinge that looks like the tail but, if you look at the pictures you can see it. It also has a magnet to close it when it was whole. I think it would be nice to remove part of the hinge and put it on a chain. It is metal (doesn't stick to a magnet) with lots of shiny crytals of clear and green eyes. It has enamel paint underneath and on top where a lovely design of red, yellow and blue. It is 1-1/4" long. whatever it is?? it is unique.
