no you do not. It might help for younger players though. it wouldn't really matter either way.

There's some scratches on the back, but it does not affect the game. I tested it today. I thought the winner should know.

That's Jackson my j*** a** of a step brother. sorry. He doesn't know what he's talking about. i really hate his guts. a long time ago we got this game and one day it stopped working. I noticed the scratches on the back and was like, shoot, It's broken! Then, 3 months later, i was like "i need to get rid of this," but I didn't want to cheat anyone into buying a broken game. So I took it to my dad's office to test it out, and it turns out that it wasn't the scratch. It was just having troble accesing our wii system memory. I know this because at my dad's office it worked just fine. I really hate jackson.
