I was not aware you were using a flat rate price for shipping it is too expensive for me on my budget. Sorry what do I need to do to retract my bid,please help.-Kathleen from RI

I'm not sure how you would retract it. I have never tried to do that before. I would try contacting Listia and seeing if maybe they can do it for you? Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

They said if I win you, as the seller can refund my 20 credits.
They said most sellers are understanding.
So I ask you if I win will you refund my 20 credits since I can not afford to pay for your flat rate shipping. I thank you in advance, Kathleen from RI

If the auction ends and you're the winner, the seller may allow you to refund credits. They are not required to do so though since no longer wanting the item isn't a reason to refund credits.

You'll find that most sellers can be understanding if you explain that you're a new user and you hadn't realized that it was being shipping in a Medium Flat Rate box. You can also suggest other cheaper methods of shipping if you're still interested in item but it's about the issue of the shipping cost.

I know that we can all make mistakes, so yes if no one outbids you then at the end of the auction (I believe that you have to wait a day to be able to do it), click the button at the top that will say I need my credits refunded and I will refund them. This may come out mean and I don't mean it that way I am just saying it to help you in the future...for future reference...before you place a bid make sure what it says shipping costs. If it says free shipping, you're good :) Or if it is set at a price you can afford and are willing to pay. If it says buyer pays shipping instead of free shipping and no price is listed, ask the seller how much shipping would be before you bid. Again, sorry if that sounded mean, I said it meaning to help not be mean. Some sellers aren't as understanding and wouldn't refund them if you had asked them since the price is on there. Hope you have a great time here on Listia!
