would this work on an ipod 5gen

Well this case was made for, i believe, ipod nano 2nd generation. the specifications for the second gen ipod nano is:

Height:
4.3 inches (110 mm)
Width:
2.4 inches (61.8 mm)
Depth:
0.33 inch (8.5 mm)

and the 5 gen ipod nano is:
Height:
3.6 inches (90.7 mm)
Width:
1.5 inches (38.7 mm)
Depth:
0.24 inch (6.2 mm)

so the 5th is smaller in all dimensions, but not by alot,
so the case would be roomy for your, but it would work :)
