Rascal age 3 is a sweet mischief loving girl that's part Egyptian Mau, then we have our youngest Spike age 5 months a mischief loving orange and cream colored tabby who currently weighs 9 pounds, he just discovered he's boy a couple days ago and Rascal's in heat so we're having to keep them separate as much as they don't like it. They're our indoor cats and Spike will be neutered soon.

We sure do have our hands full but we wouldn't have it any other way, yes money is tight but so what? we love our pets and can't say no to starving cats, hopefully we don't get anymore coming around for a little while. 4 is plenty, besides Spike and Rascal we have 2 outdoor cats Buddy around 7-9 years old who's a little more wild than the rest of the cats, we suspect she was abused at some point because it took her awhile to warm up to all of us, to allow us to get close enough to put flea treatment on her and she shies away from brooms and loud voices, she's a big stocky girl who acts more like a grumpy bull dog than a cat sometimes and then there's OJ who's probably between 2 & 5 yrs old, he thinks Buddy is playing hard to get and can't take the hint that she just doesn't like him, she's not fond of dogs and has all the neighborhood dogs afraid of her, even the big full size doberman's who aren't very friendly are scared of Buddy, gotta get Spike & OJ neutered soon and hope that cools their hot to trot jets down a little. Rascal started boxing Spike and wrestling with him and acting more her usual self which means she's coming out of heat thankfully! Spike tried to jump her a couple times today and instead got a little beat up by Rascal which left him looking like what just happened? I love our cats and their antics. Rascal's back to thinking of Spike as somebody to play with instead of somebody to mate with.
