leaving the books on the kindle won't really do much good, once the winner fixes the screen they will sync their amazon account to it and anything on the kindle that was download would disappear unless they have the same books bought on their account, its kinda like when u sync ur ipod to itunes, I hope thats helpful, just browsing around listia and saw this, good luck with the bidding

Thank you for your info but I never used my Amazon account except send to my kindle. It comes in handle when I downloaded books from other sites. Thank you.
