Description

The listing, Opal Pendant has ended.

This is set in sterling silver and is stamped as such. It is 3 inches long and at its widest 1 inch. I can't remember what the purple stone is. This was done by a well known silversmith in Texas. The chain is 30 inches and is Italian silver.
The opal is said to be the combination of all the jewels - rubies, emeralds, saphires and pearls etc.

could it be sugilite?? Similar to lapis lazuli but purple, found often in old manganese mines.

Don't know - lapis has sparkle in it this is just plain.
