The listing, 1958 Topps TOM ACKER (Cincinatti Reds - Redlegs) has ended.

This is a 1958 Topps #149 TOM ACKER baseball card.
Acker was a pitcher from 1956-1959 with the Cincinatti Reds. During the "Red Scare" of the 1950s, the Reds changed their name for a time to "Redlegs" to keep people from associating their team name with Communists.

Interesting piece of baseball lore because of the political association. This card does have a corner crease, bottom left. See photo for condition.
