1917S (type 1) Rare key date Standing Liberty quarter with non-readable date !!!

Quarter does NOT have the 3 stars on the back and has a very distinct "S" mint mark so it is definately a Rare, 1917S Type 1 (Exposed right breast)

In spite of the date being worn off, this quarter still has alot of great detail on the front and rear both !!!

Even rated at VG status the red book price is around $75.00 for this one !!!

Too bad the date is unreadable...it could be a 1918/7 S and would be worth $1500 in it's condition. Very nice coin.

Cmon folks, as of today, just the melt value alone for this quarter is $5.88 !!!

Red book price on a VG version like this is around $70.00 !!!
