No tears nor ripples in leather some scuff marks on bottom but thats natural for a vintage purse. 14 inch straps
12 inches long in length, 5 1/2 wide across the bottom. I would call this a medium size purse. Nice Purse

We do not smoke at all....But I dont know if the purse was around anyone that smoked before I got it
