According to an old Greek tradition, at the beggining of the new year, people are putting a gold coin in some kind of a cake they make to bring them luck. Its an old tradition that started 1600 years ago in Caesarea of Pontos. These are replicas of old gold coins that Greeks 've been using for centuries. A whole bunch of them.
