It has a measurement guide for the widths of strips you wish to cut and cuts through multiple layers.Still in the box along with a manual. It has a foot pedal for operation. You can cut fabric or paper with this cutter, a great tool for quilters or scrapbookers!!! Measures from 3/8 up to 2 and 3/4ths. This is a great gift for yourself or for a friend or family member. You can always go to Walmart and buy a money card($3.99 OR $4.99) and use it to open a paypal account. When you load money on it at walmart they charge you $3 but, I feel safer knowing people online do not have access to my checking account info, I hope this helps. Also, when you get your paypal account you can print shipping labels from USPS and you get a cheaper rate than going to your post office.
