50 seeds for the white with red heart Rose of Sharon trees. I have a several trees over 7feet tall. They grow fairly easily, need proper care until they are established, and do not require a lot of watering. I know they can grow well in zones 5-8, I don't know about other zones but you can check online to make sure.

I don't know about growing these from seed but I'll give it a try. I live in zone 9 and have two beautiful rose of sharon trees that winter over quite well.

Hi! I put a little note on how to germinate them if you want to try that - otherwise I know some people just toss them down in the fall and let them go from there. I've got about 80 in my backyard now that are 1-5yr olds and they just keep dropping seeds and the next year I get seedlings that grow fairly quick. Either way if you want. You're in 9 so you may want to just put them in the ground, and let nature take over. Let me know how that works . :)
