I thought this would be a fun and interesting auction to share with my Listia family!! This is a tradition I began in my family when my boys were younger.On Christmas Eve,we would hang Santa's Key in a special place for him to have access to leave presents.This idea began when my sons wondered how Santa would get in because we had no chimney then.Smart little kiddos,I thought about it and created a special key and the tradition began,now my family's favorite Christmas tree ornament!! It is an antique looking silvertone skeleton key,measures 3 in.long. and the shaft unsecrews from the top,allowing for bead changing.It has on it,2 green and 2 red rhinestone spacers,centered is a green beveled glass bead.I topped it off with a white satin ribbon that reads,"ho,ho,ho" and allows the key to be hung in that special place for Santa to find!! This key is such a versitile piece that it can be hung on a chain,a lovely organza ribbon or even on put onto a keyring if you didn't want to use it for a Santa Key~It is such a very pretty sparkly piece and would even be an eye catching accent on a dresser or vanity!!
