As a numismatist, judging by the condition (As from what I can see from the images) along with it's 1875 date, metals used, all that stuff plays a role in the appraisal. I would say it has around a 7$-10$ USD value.

$12-$27 on Ebay was judging from the Buy-It Now prices which admittedly are inflated sometimes...Your $0.99 could be what someone got it for at auction, which of course might not be that surprising since Swedish coin collectors in the US I'd expect are rare compared to say US Canadian or Mexican coin collectors. I lived near Canada and used to collect US and Canadian coins.
