The listing, mullein seed has ended.
Here's another one of my favorites folks. I love this plant for it's beauty as well as it's texture. It is as soft as a rabbit hide and makes a thick leaf. I can't begin to list all the medicinal reasons this plant is used, even today it is used in many commercial applications for asthma and respiratory ailments. The Native Americans smoked it for lung disorders and also used the leaf as a poultice. The leaves and flowers are what is mostly used from this plant. It's also one of the safest and best toilet papers you can use in the forest, haha Very efficient. It sells for around twenty or more dollars a pound when purchasing it dried and thats a good deal. My friend and I are wildcrafters and l like to list the plants that are seldom seen here that we often use or sell.
It does well in most types of soil and prefers full sun with no other plants shading it. The stalks grow in its second year and get up to six feet tall. It is a beautiful plant.
I usually find this plant in open meadows, however, I took this picture of some growing out of a rock outcropping. Aint it pretty?
My seed is all organic and collected in the Appalachian Mountains far from most civilization.
Google mullein and learn of its uses. As always, know what you are picking and never use a plant before researching and know what you are doing. I am listing this for ornamental purposes . Be safe with all plants that you use.
I drive a far piece then walk twice as far to gather my seed and plants. Gas is expensive and so is mailing. I try to list plants that most don't think of and share my knowledge of them. I keep my shipping cost as low as possible, sorry but I have too many four legged critters I must feed and care for, can't afford no two legged ones. Two dollars is cheap for what I do. I could care less about the credits, I'm on here for the friends I've made and to pass my boredom during the winter months when I can't hike. Just trying to share my stash
