The listing, Original! 1958 Topps BOB "Hawk" TAYLOR Rookie card! (Milwaukee Braves) has ended.
Hawk Taylor is a lesser known but very storied baseball player.
He came up with the Braves in 1957 but only appeared in 51 games for Milwaukee between 1957-1963. In 1964, he was taken by the New York Mets.
Hawk appeared in the first game in Shea Stadium history.
Hawk hit the first pinch hit grand slam in New York Mets franchise history.
Selected by the Royals in the 1968 Rule 5 Draft, he played with the first ever Kansas City Royals team in 1969.
Card is not mint, but not bad. There is one small, mild surface wrinkle that my camera may not pick up near the top, but you have to angle it in some light to even see it. Otherwise, what you see is what you get ... card is not really beaten up or abused. Check out the pictures.
