The following are specifications for this baby carrier:

Easiest front carrier to use with all adjustments made in the front.
Front carrier accommodates forward and rear facing child
Comfortable to wear with wide padded all around straps
Safe and snug head support for newborns
Front removes to put sleeping baby down without waking
Nurse in privacy without removing baby
Older child can face forward and seat height adjusts gradually
Adjustable seat height and buckle for growing babies

Thank You! It is very nice and I had debated on letting it go in case we have another baby. But chances are we are done (we have 5) and I also have a Moby Wrap I can use (although this carrier was much easier to figure out and utilize) so I decided to let this go. :-)

how long is it around the parent, some carriers dont fit around bigger people... do u know how wide it goes??

Hi, it adjusts on the straps quite a bit as needed.

It slips over the head and crisscross's in the back with all the adjustments being made up front. If you loosen it up as far as it will go and then put it on, all you have to do is pull down on the straps that will be located on each front side of you and tighten it up to your needs.
