They do have fighting and stuff in them but no dirty adult content, I never read them myself but love the turtles. Not sure if Creed is based off the American Rock Band but they can't be any worse than the KISS comic books I read when I was around that age. I hope this helps, otherwise keep an eye out I will have many more comic lots this winter with all kinds of great comic books to get your child into comics, but I myself think the Turtles are great for someone starting out in comics.

ok thanks. My son loves TMNT. i have never been into comics so not sure about the whole comic thing but know he would love to look at the pics :)

The kids watch movies ( some being Disney) that I watched as a kid and I didn't get the adult humor... now I'm like Oh geeeeez that totally rolled over my head years ago

Yeah it's amazing what we missed when we were younger, we were innocent and just enjoyed the cartoons and didn't care about the politics and statements they made. Many of the good superhero comic books focus way heavier on war and death than I remember too, Captain America, Superman, Etc.
