If it's advertised as sterling, it should be marked either sterling or .925 on the inside of the band. Or some people have older unmarked pieces tested by a jeweler to make sure it's sterling, but your piece looks new (especially if you purchased it on Amazon).

I always ask, because I have purchased items that were said to be sterling and they were not. Even some of the .925 stuff on Listia and other auction sites is just Chinese imports with a sterling wash, and not really sterling.

Just trying to spend my credits wisely! I didn't know this until I purchased my first ring from China and my jeweler almost fell on the floor laughing! Anyway welcome to Listia and good luck with your auctions! It's a pretty ring, no matter what it's made of. :)
