@Charlene - This model does have a UMD slot.

This was the last model PSP (PSP-3000) to feature the UMD drive.

The next model after this one was the PSP Go which was the first model that did not feature the UMD drive. There are a few of the PSPGo consoles currently listed here on Listia if that is what you are looking for.
