I did reply to this a few min ago. But, no these weren't near any other squash plants so they should be pure Delicata. I learned my lesson on planting different sqash together.Ya never know what you're gonna end up with!

No. I have 3 different gardens on my property and I keep the squash in separate areas.

Thanks. I'm just getting into growing different squash, but have to be careful about varieties getting crossed because I have a limited amount of space. So many choices & so little space. Isn't that always the case. Soon I will not have any grass left in the yard. LOL

Yeah, I know what you mean! We went so far as to have trees taken down for two of our gardens and I noticed this year that it didn't take me so long to mow the little yards we have. They're disappearing under the veggies! Lol.
