Charoite (K(Ca;Na)2Si4O10(OH;F)·H2O)[3] is a rare silicate mineral, first described in 1978 and named for the Chara River. It has been reported only from the Sakha Republic, Yakutia, Siberia, Russia. It is found where a syenite of the Murunskii Massif has intruded into and altered limestone deposits producing a potassium feldspar metasomatite. Charoite is translucent lavender to purple in color with a pearly lustre. Charoite is strictly massive in nature, and fractures are conchoidal. It has an unusual swirling, fibrous appearance, sometimes chatoyant, and that, along with its intense color, can lead many to believe at first that it is synthetic or enhanced artificially.
I just wanted to tell you, that I "eyed" or noticed this ring just about the first day you listed it! Although too small & I do not wear rings, often, I have probably looked at it 80 times by now!? Something just draws me to it? I don't know if that has happened to you before? Not even a color of stone I may normally chose! It is awesome, I don't know what it is, about this ring?! Almost tempted to bid.,may fit a pinky which would drive me crazy. I have looked at your items for a long time now. I just felt the need to tell you about what this ring does to me!! Strange?! Someone is going to love it! I am scared to let it go!
I appreciate your answer! While I don't need it, something is telling me bid! Probably telling myself! You are right & if I won, I would feel like it may not be worn, when people are bidding for a reason & that it fits? So strange,,I have had feelings such as this before, thanks
