she is in mint as far as i can see.

Also, I believe the ones in the plain cardboard box were mail order or Sears catalog order, versus the ones in the colorful packaging that were sold on store shelves.

I don't think my question is rude, just an honest question. The one I posted is the only similar one I saw, with the plastic bag and cardboard Coleco box. There are some Cabbage Patch dolls that fetch a high value because that specific doll is rare, but the majority for this time period are only in the $20-30 range (used to be more before they started making them again and demand lowered). I have 20 years of experience buying/selling collectibles, but I am by no means a Cabbage Patch doll expert. I just wanted to see a link for this specific doll on Ebay to see if it's rare or something that would make it worth so much more than the average going price for a 1984 Cabbage Patch doll.

go to ebay and check the higher priced ones ,,they are the same year and condition and in box going for 295.00......with such rude comments ,,,this will be the last one of these i post ..i had this looked at by a vintage shop and antique dealer shop and got quotes on this..thanks for looking

on birth cert without opening it says nov.1st

Oh usually you can see the birthdate on the newer ones. We try to get one with a birthday the same as the child we are getting it for. The older ones probably didn't do that. Thanks!
