Honestly I'm not sure. It doesn't have any markings on it that say like '14 carat' or anything. I received it as a present from my boyfriend who was in Desert Storm and I don't think it was that expensive like probably under $25.00 at the time.
Do you know of a way to see if it Is real gold besides taking it to a jewelry store?? It never bothered me (my skin) to wear it. Sometimes fake gold rings will leave like a greenish trace on your finger. This didn't. Hope that helps. :)
