Questions & Comments
These are so pretty, I will watching this for sure!
Oh, these are really nice! Does your friend still make beaded jewelry? I think Listia would be a GREAT venue for beads and other craft supplies. I listed a bunch of beads and people are asking me to list more craft supplies. I think we could get an excellent craft swap/recycling program going here.
I've put in a request to Listia to create separate categories for "handmade crafts" and "craft supplies" with sub-categories that would include "yarn," "stitching," "metal," "gem," and ESPECIALLY "beads and findings." Thousands, possibly MILLIONS, of beaders would participate. I've searched for "bead swap" sites and almost all of them are completely inactive. New beads and findings can be very expensive, and people would love to get them for free.
I think Listia could be the first great "bead swap" and craft material recycling site. If you agree, send a message to Listia via "contact help" at the bottom on the page, then click on "submit a request."
Hi,yes she makes all of her own Jewelry. Those sound like great ideas.:) I have about 350 piecs of vintage jewlery I want to list on here, finding the time is the key.:) I love your Auctions Natahoa.
Oh yeah, it takes a ton of time. Here's some advice ... take the photos in the morning, edit the photos in the afternoon so they are ready. Then, post your listings at night. You're more likely to get bids at the end because people are home from work. Weekend nights are actually the best times to end auctions! And, figure out how to get good, sharp closeups with your camera. Once you find the "sweet spot" you'll be able to get great detailed photos. Use good light and a black or white backdrop!
Thank you I always loves tips and help hints. I sell on ebay also, and care for my Grands,so I slip things in,on a wing.lol Love watchin my little 9 month old Grandson,he is sweeter than a sody water.
Thanks.I use a Jewlery Balck Velvet stand (as seen in pics) and my fridge as a white background usually and get some pretty good ones.I am gonna list a silver vintage necklace and the pic on it is really good. But it's hard with glares, and stones that catch the light,as I'm sure you know.
