do these need covers?

These are hybrid diapers. They have a soft cover that you add plastic liners to and inside the liners are disposable liners (or flushable).

we use everything =) one size pockets are nice for ease of use and cleaning much easier then traditional aios, but going on and coming off all in one piece. My fave with my oldest was fitteds, just add a cover when needed, but nice and breathy for general play at home. using pockets more with two in diapers right now. but will probably migrate back to fitteds once my oldest is potty trained =)

jacobsmommy, you can use disposable liners, or you can use prefolds (or any sort of insert really that has enough to hold all the pee) and use them as hybrid pockets that don't need the shell changed each time. We used disposable liners that came with ours and when we ran out switched to prefolds. just a way to have a little less with you when you are out and about by only needing the one shell plus and extra liner in case.

These are good, I am using the larger size this week on my camping trip :) And I will use them with the inserts, my inserts, and prefolds. They work easier than taking AIO and fitteds on the camping trip!

instead of the disposable/flushable liners, i used the cloth insert that cost around 10 bucks each, or the prefold will do. theyre great diapers, love them,
