this a prewar face cream jar, probably from sometime in the 30's. It still has the lid, which is a little crusty, but is intact and still screws on and off, as well as having "ayer usa" and "face cream" embossed on the top. The jar itself reads HARRIET HUBBARD, AYER, NEW YORK, NY USA on the side. there are no chips or cracks on the jar. It could benefit from a little cleaning, but that is not my are of expertise.

would be a great addition to any glass or jar collection!
