Ok, we all remember the game Centipede, right? That was the old, sometimes incredibly frustrating but at the same time incredibly fun Atari game where you had to kill the centipede before he reached you. For a simple game it sure as hell was tough. There were things that you could use to your advantage, like mushrooms that the centipede couldn't get around. Unfortunately, this meant that you had to aim your shots just right or you'd take out the mushrooms and give the centipede a clear path to where you were. This game has seen several incarnations on several gaming consoles throught the years, PC, Atari, Gameboy, even PSX. Now comes Millipede, which is pretty much the same thing except...well...it's millipedes and not centipedes. Also, like Centipede, it's seen rather a lot of incarnations from what I've been able to glean from research. Here's what I think of its NES incarnation. As you can guess, I was quite satisfied.
Gameplay 10-10. As I said above, you have to kill off the bugs before they can reach you or you'll die. It's not always easy though, since you sometimes can find yourself destroying things you really shouldn't like the mushrooms or whatever that make the Millipedes unable to just come right for you. If you do happen to make such a mistake the millipedes'll have a clear path to you.
