It is a real stone, but it is a solid saphire, not a crystal clear stone, and it is one of the few types of stone that are found mingled with turquoise. It is a 2 dimentional oval, meaning that it cut flat on the bottom. It's rare for the white star shape to form on the surface. It's also not as precious a stone as the crystal clear saphire.
