The listing, 2GB SKYTEX Primer 7" Color E-reader and Media Player has ended.

This Ereader / Media Player is in very good condition. It has some light scratches on back, but nothing major. Everything works perfectly on it. Here are some of the features:

- 7" color LCD display (800x480 resolution)

- Open standard designs supports most popular eBook formats, including epub, pdf, txt, html, etc..

- Support for Adobe DRM protected ePub and PDF (rent ebooks from the library, or purchase from a number or online resellers)

- This all-in-one media device lets you play back music, movies, view photos and listen to FM radio

- Built-in recording software, speakers, and mic

Hardware & Specs

The Skytex Primer is based on a 7″ LCD screen (800×480), 400 MHz Rockchip CPU, 2GB Flash, and a microSDHC card slot (up to 16Gb supported). It also has an FM Radio, a microphone, and a speaker. It has 2 sets of page turn button on the right side of the screen; below the screen is a d-pad, number keys, as well as buttons for rotate, back, font size, and play/pause. The Primer supports Epub, PDF, html, Mobi, FB2, and txt for ebook formats, and according to the specs page it also plays MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, RMVB, VOB, DAT, MP4, FLV, and 3GP. I do not have most of those formats so I can’t test it. I got around 10 hours of battery life before I had to recharge. That’s not bad for a LCD based ereader.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a touch screen. Also (full disclosure) I own an Amazon Kindle and the Skytex Primer is not really close to as good, in my opinion. It is nice for a cheaper ereader / media player.

It charges the the USB cable. Will include the USB cable with it.
